Lightkey for Mac is a professional lighting control app for discos, nightclubs, live events, and more. Control moving heads, scanners, LED matrixes, lasers, or any fixture which supports the DMX protocol through an elegant, easy-to-use interface. Instructions:
- Mount the DMG
- Open Keygen.app
- Click “Select .app” and choose Lightkey.app
- Open Lightkey.app -> Manage License -> No Internet connection
- In the keygen, click “Generate” to create a serial number
- Then copy and paste it into Lightkey’s activation window
- Save the activation request file when prompted
- In the keygen, click “Select Request File”
- Choose the activation request you just saved
- Then double-click the generated response in Finder to activate
- Profit.

Install Lightkey
- Open the downloaded .dmg installer file by double-clicking it.
- Drag the Lightkey app into your Applications folder.
- Once copied, open Applications → Lightkey to launch the program.
- If macOS warns about opening an app from the internet, click Open. (This is standard for downloaded Mac apps.)
💡 Tip: You may be prompted for administrator permission the first time you launch — this is normal for hardware control software.
