Install Alcove
Once the .dmg file is downloaded:
- Open the downloaded .dmg file by double-clicking it in your Downloads folder.
- You’ll see the Alcove app icon — drag it into your Applications folder.
- Once in Applications, double-click Alcove to launch it.
If macOS shows an “unidentified developer” warning:
- Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Under “Security,” click Open Anyway next to the Alcove message.
