Download and install
- Chrome/Edge/Brave (Chromium):
- Open your browser.
- Go to the Chrome Web Store SponsorBlock page: “SponsorBlock for YouTube – Skip Sponsorships.”
- Click Add to Browser/Add to Chrome.
- Confirm and install.
- Firefox:
- Go to the Firefox Add-ons page for SponsorBlock.
- Click Add to Firefox → Install.
3. Activate the extension
- After installation, click the extension icon near your address bar.
- Make sure SponsorBlock is enabled/checked in your browser Extensions settings.
- Visit youtube.com and it should start skipping sponsor segments automatically.
